A new way to party on Brady Street is coming and this one could be a little dangerous.
According to a press release early this morning, "This is not one of your run-of-the-mill franchise escape rooms that have become common throughout the country. Locally owned Save Milwaukee creates their own, original concepts and builds the sets and interactive gadgets in-house. On Friday, Oct. 12 the company will be bringing an all-new attraction to Milwaukee called 'Caspian P. McSnooty’s Gallery of Fine Art'."
The new escape room is located at located at 1220 E. Brady St., next to The Up & Under Pub.
"Why is this one different," asks the press release, before answering, "Well, there’s a new art gallery opening on Brady Street but it is suspected of being a front for a ring of thieves. They have a method of pinging credit cards in the pockets and purses of people as they pass by on the sidewalk to steal their identity. Teams of agents will have 60 minutes to look for evidence in the gallery’s artwork to prove this is really going on. But be careful – Save Milwaukee can help you get in the door, but after 60 minutes the police will come, and if the evidence hasn’t been found, you, the investigating agents, will be the ones in trouble."
Unlike most escape rooms, McSnooty’s gallery has no waiting room for groups to gather before they start. There will be no orientation, instructions or briefing from staff, and there will be no registration or sign-in forms. Instead, groups will receive the code to the door via text message before they arrive and sneak into the art gallery on their own.
While most escape rooms are typically designed for groups of 8-12, McSnooty’s can accommodate up to 20. The riddles and puzzles are specially designed to require teamwork, making this escape room perfect for work outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, clubs, sports teams and family gatherings.
Save Milwaukee operates two other escape rooms, "The Device" and "Tailgate," both located inside the Marshall Building, at 207 E. Buffalo St.

Well, I'm certainly going to try and escape the gallery and maybe you will too.
