It's the holiday season, which means it's time to bring the family together ... and audition to compete on a game show.
"Family Feud" is coming to Milwaukee on Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22 to audition families in person for a chance to compete, answer potentially awkward questions with potentially even more awkward responses, probably embarrass yourself on national TV and possibly win a chunk of change in the process.
To apply your family – and you must have at least five family members related by either blood, marriage or legal adoption – send an email to Milwaukee@familytryouts.com. The call for auditions notes that they "love when families include pictures and video to their email," so have at it.
For more on the rules and eligibility to audition and compete on "Family Feud," visit the website. And, for extra inspiration, here's an incredible Cracked piece on the nightmarish descent into madness that was the Mario Lopez vs. Joey Lawrence episode of "Celebrity Family Feud." That could be YOU! Minus the celebrity part, of course.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
