Faye's, a locally-owned fashion boutique for women that has been around for two decades, launches Faye's Fashion Fest For Education, May 19-22. For three days, 25 percent of every purchase gets donated to the school of the customer's choice.

"Faye's believes in giving back to the communities that patronize our stores. That's why we chose education as the fundraising focus for our spring and summer season," says owner Faye Wetzel.

The shops will also host student-friendly events during the fashion festival, including professional make-up artists demonstrating "age appropriate" make-up tips and fashion blogger Bjorn Borgg will be on-site to answer customers' fashion questions.

Faye's are located in the Galleria West, 18900 W. Bluemound Rd., and inside East Towne Square, 1505 W. Mequon Rd.

I have never shopped at Faye's, but I just might. It's my birthday weekends anyway. I deserve somethin' pretty and new. And I can think of a school or 12 that's in dire need of funding.
