First Stage Children's Theater is marking its 25th anniversary year and upcoming production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with a Golden Ticket Giveaway.
First Stage will sell "Charlie Bars" throughout February at 10 area Balistreri-owned Sendik's Food Markets, Kehr's Candies in the Milwaukee Public Market and in the lobby during First Stage Performances of "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center and "A Wrinkle in Time" at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
One bar will hold the Golden Ticket, which entitles the winner to a deluxe trip for four to see First Stage's production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," an exclusive backstage tour, gift certificates for concessions and merchandise, dinner at Joey Buona's Restaurant, a copy of the Roald Dahl classic "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" signed by the production's cast, a three-play Family Package to First Stage's 2012-13 season and more.
While only one Charlie Bar holds the golden ticket, every bar in the sweepstakes is a winner, with prizes ranging from a discount on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" tickets to a three-play Family Package to the 2012-13 season.
Proceeds from the sale of First Stage Charlie Bars support First Stage's Community Partnership Program, which makes First Stage programming available to low-income families and City of Milwaukee schools. For more information and official rules, visit the First Stage website.
