Milwaukee Public Museum is bringing back its popular Food & Froth fundraiser on Saturday, March 8.
The museum's most popular fundraiser celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
The 21+ event, which runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. – with a 6 p.m. entry and 10 p.m. closing for VIPs – helps fund the museum's exhibits, programming, educational programs and community outreach.
Food & Froth caught on immediately upon its debut in February 1999 when it sold 1,800 tickets – more than three times the number expected – and has raised $3 million for the museum.
Over the years it has expanded from a single floor of the museum to all three floors.
In addition to sampling beers, ciders, meads and more, you'll also get to taste some great dishes from area restaurants and caterers. (A list of participating breweries and restaurants is typically announced closer to the event date.)
Plus there's live music and more, all taking place on the museum's exhibit floors.
“For 25 years, this beloved tradition has brought the community together to celebrate lifelong learning and local flavor,” said MPM Senior Vice President of Development Julie Quinlan Brame.
“By showcasing local breweries and restaurants alongside our exhibits, Food & Froth is a unique opportunity to explore, engage and enjoy, all while raising vital funds for the Museum. We’re grateful MPM fans continue to cherish this experience year after year and are excited to mark this milestone anniversary during the 2025 Food & Froth.”
Tickets are $100 and include admission, samples and a collector's glass. There is also a limited number of Designated Driver tickets available for purchase.
VIP tickets are $200 and in addition to securing early access and a later closing time, affords entry into the VIP Lounge, which has unlimited appetizers, select craft beverage samples and entertainment.
