The weather is warming and it's definitely time to begin getting excited for another Great Milwaukee Summer.
West Allis is getting in the groove with their popular event: Food Truck Fridays. In 2023, the free event will take place on eight select Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. at the West Allis Farmers Market, 6501 W. National Ave. (see schedule below).
Starts June 16
The very first Food Truck Friday will be held on Friday, June 16. It will feature a mini market, live music from Orlando Peña, craft beer from Ope! Brewing Co. and Perspective Brewing and an impressive food truck line-up that includes:

From there, on select Fridays throughout the summer, guests can stop by for delicious fare from over 15 food trucks, craft beer from Ope! Brewing Co. and Perspective Brewing, live music from local musicians plus activities for families.

Lori is the author of two books: the "Wisconsin Field to Fork" cookbook and "Milwaukee Food". Her work has garnered journalism awards from entities including the Milwaukee Press Club. In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
