Waukesha native Frank Caliendo's sketch comedy show "Frank TV" premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on cable station TBS.

Caliendo, the hottest impressionist in the comedy / entertainment business, said he doesn't have any big plans for the heavily-promoted debut.

"I think I'm either in the air or at a hotel at that time," Caliendo said in a phone interview from New York City, where the network gave away free hot dogs ("franks") in order to promote the show.

In addition to giving away free hot dogs, Caliendo dropped by to see his likeness on a giant 50-foot billboard draped on a Manhattan building.

"I'm going to put that on my Web site, you only have once chance in your life to be on a 50-foot tall billboard and stand in front of it," he said.

Caliendo is slated to play two shows at the Riverside Theater on Jan. 19, which happens to be his birthday.

"The first show sold out so fast that we added a second show at 5:30 p.m.," Caliendo said. "It'll be a big birthday bash."
