Peter Stathas, originally from Milwaukee, returns to his hometown with his dance group, Peter Stathas Dance, to perform "From Where We Ascend/Wake."
The show portrays how our lives have permanently changed in the wake of the worldwide pandemic.
"From Where We Ascend/Wake" will occur on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at Danceworks MKE, 1661 N. Water St. The performances start at 8 p.m.
Local filmmaker Sean Kafer will contribute video projections.
“This program honors our collective evolution: where we’ve been, where we are, and where we must go,” says Stathas. “We are thrilled to share this work in Milwaukee, creating a space for reflection, connection, and boundless possibility.”
