Leash up your furry besties because it’s almost Petfest time, Milwaukee. After a year hiatus, Fromm Petfest is back, furrier and fetchier and friendlier then ever.

The event, which usually attracts thousands of pet lovers and their four-legged pals to Milwaukee’s lakefront, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Henry Maier Festival Park. Admission is free.

"Every year we look forward to organizing this family-friendly event to celebrate our four-legged family members and are more committed than ever to making sure we provide a safe and fun experience for festival attendees,” said Bryan Nieman, Brand Director and fifth-generation family member for Fromm Family Foods.

Fromm Petfood is a fifth-generation family-owned, Mequon-based company. Since 1904, the Fromm family has been dedicated to the health and nutrition of animals, and in the 1930s, developed the first canine distemper vaccine.

In 1949, they introduced the concept of premium pet food by pioneering the process of cooking meat and grain together to create the dry kibble food that is popular today with pets in Wisconsin and well beyond.

Today, the growing line of foods now includes kibble, canned diets and treats, all manufactured at family-owned and operated facilities in Wisconsin. From the very beginning and into the future, Fromm is committed to their tradition of innovation while staying firmly rooted in their home state.

"After a year’s hiatus, we’re thrilled to return to Henry Maier Festival Park with Petfest and give back to the pets and families who call Wisconsin home," says Nieman.
