Leave the baking and frosting-making to the experts while you and your family engage in the fun of decorating your own whimsical holiday gingerbread house. The Pfister’s pastry team will provide pre-assembled houses and all the supplies you need to customize your edible masterpiece, including icing, colorful candies, cereal, cookies and more. You just need to bring your creative inspiration!
Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Workshops will take place in the Club Lounge on the 23rd floor of The Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave., on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 14-15 and Saturday and Sunday Dec. 21-22 with timeslots from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or 1:15 to 3:15 p.m.
The cost is $55 per gingerbread house (each house accommodates a family of up to six people). Each purchase includes two hours of gingerbread house decorating time, festive hot beverages and snacks and a box that will keep your gingerbread house safe on the trek home. Make your reservations online.

In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
