Last year, I reported on a small business called Baby Jack Blankets founded by local mom Kelley Legler.

Legler sent one of her baby blankets – which are unique in that they feature hand-sewn ribbon tabs that babies like to touch – to Tori Spelling as a gift, and the next thing she knew, she was invited to the Boom Boom Room Pre-Golden Globes Celebrity Gifting Event in Hollywood to showcase her line of blankets to celebrity moms.

"This event is the talk of Tinseltown where celeb moms preview all the new innovative products in the baby category," says Legler. "We have put together 50 celebrity gift bags with our products and items from sponsors to hand out along with product information."

Legler will attend the event later this month with her mom and mother-in-law.

"They have both been incredibly supportive," she says.
