Earlier this week, Mayfair Mall announced it is now open for curbside pickup service in conjunction with a number of its retailers and beginning Monday May 4, Good City Brewing will sell six-packs of its beer outside the mall, too.

The brewery does not have a location in the mall.

Good City has been offering curbside service at its East Side location during the Safer at Home order, and, according to Good City's David Dupee, the mall invited the brewery to take part in the new initiative.

"We want to serve our community and customers by providing creative shopping solutions during this uncertain time as we all work to responsibly turn the dial," says Mayfair General Manager Chris Jaeger.

"We’re excited to partner with a prominent local brewery to provide our customers with a unique curbside experience."

The drive-thru service will be available seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. in a former bank drive-thru in the Mayfair North Office Tower in the parking lot outside Macy's, near Texas de Brazil restaurant.

Customers can reserve beer online for pickup or order on demand via credit card purchases (no cash). The drive-thru will be contactless, says Dupee.

"Team member and customer safety is our top priority," he said. "We’ll incorporate the same measures adopted at our East Side location to ensure an environment that is safe for all of us to Seek the Good."

Dupee's fellow Good City co-founder Dan Katt says curbside pickup at the brewery so far has exceeded the owners' expectations.

"We’ve been humbled by the customer support that has allowed us to keep our skeleton crew employed during these difficult times," said Katt. "Mayfair’s partnership will make it possible for us to bring back even more of our team members."

Meanwhile, on Saturday, May 2, the third Beer Drive-Thru event organized by Milwaukee's New Barons Brewing Cooperative – the second to be held at The Explorium Brewpub at Southridge Mall – takes place with numerous participating breweries.
