Good City and Milwaukee Pretzel have collaborated on Biergarten pretzel ale – a perfect autumn brew – which releases today.

This pretz-ale (you're welcome), was designed by Good City Head Brewer Dane Mariani and includes actual Milwaukee Pretzel German pretzels in the mash, as well as the addition of sale just before packaging.

The pale ale clocks in at a crushable 5 percent ABV and is being released Thursday at Good City on the East Side, 2108 N. Farwell Ave.

Head over to the release party at 5:15 p.m. for a stein holding contest and a free Milwaukee Pretzel.

“We’ve served Milwaukee Pretzel in our taproom since Day 1," says Good City co-founder Dan Katt.

"It’s always the popular pairing choice with our beer and so we thought it would be a lot of fun to actually put in a beer!”

Biergarten pretzel ale will be available on draft and in six packs at all the Good City locations and should arrive at local retail in coming weeks.
