Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County’s premier natural and organic food store, is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sunday, Jan 26, 2025.

Over the past two decades, the store at 2205 Silvernail Rd. in Pewaukee has been a trailblazer in providing healthy, organic, and sustainable products to the local community. To thank its loyal customers, Good Harvest Market will offer a special 20% discount on all grocery purchases on the anniversary day. Shoppers will also receive a 20% off coupon for a future visit to Hop Harvest & Vine, the in-house restaurant.

When Good Harvest Market first opened its doors in 2005, the idea of eating organic and healthy food was far from mainstream. The founders envisioned a store where every product’s ingredient list was carefully reviewed before it reached the shelves—a principle that remains at the heart of Good Harvest Market’s mission today.

“For 20 years, we have been passionate about serving and nourishing our community with organic, local, and sustainable products,” said Joe Nolan, co-founder. “Even when taking a different path could have meant greater sales, we stayed true to our values, ensuring every product aligns with our mission to provide clean, wholesome food for all dietary preferences.”

Good Harvest Market quickly became the go-to store in Waukesha County and surrounding communities for individuals seeking to meet specific dietary needs, such as gluten-free, paleo, vegan, and vegetarian, as well as those looking for traditional meat and seafood options sourced from ethical and sustainable producers.

In 2015, Good Harvest Market expanded to its current location on Silvernail Road, offering a larger store, the addition of the Harvest Café (later renamed Hop Harvest & Vine in 2020), and a greater focus on fostering community connections. The remodel included a juice and smoothie bar and, in 2023, the addition of a pavilion for dining, live music, weddings, and other events.

Beyond its focus on food, Good Harvest Market has also been a pioneer in building relationships and creating a sense of community. The store serves as a "Third Place"—a gathering spot outside of home and work—where customers come not just to shop but to connect with one another.

A Legacy of Giving Back

Over the past two decades, Good Harvest Market has employed hundreds of local residents, contributing more than $22 million in payroll to the area. Additionally, the store has donated over $250,000 to local nonprofits, supporting initiatives that improve the lives of Waukesha County residents.

“We’re not just celebrating 20 years of business but 20 years of relationships and trust built with our customers and community,” Nolan said.
