Google is marking Les Paul's 96th birthday today with a fun, interactive "Google Doodle."
Instead of seeing the company's well-known logo at google.com, visitors instead are greeted with a series of guitar strings that actually play notes when you move the cursor over them. An additional feature also lets you record your musical creations.
Paul, who passed away in 2009, was born in Waukesha in 1915. He is best-known for his role in the development of the solid-body electric guitar and multi-track recording.
