On Thursday morning, March 19, you have the opportunity to hear Mike Gousha talk about Milwaukee, media and more.  You'll also have to put up with me as I have the pleasure of asking him questions as part of the East Town Association's Coffee Connection series that OnMilwaukee.com proudly sponsors.  For me, it will not only be fun but a bit of a "turning of the tables" as I had the honor of being a guest on Gousha's "Sunday Night" show many years ago.

These days, Gousha serves as a Distinguished Fellow in Law and Public Policy at Marquette University Law School.  He's an award-winning journalist, the host of the Law School's "On the Issues" conversation series and a contributing anchor and political analyst for WISN-TV where he hosts the weekly Sunday morning program "Up Front with Mike Gousha," which airs on ABC affiliates statewide.

On Thursday, in a casual environment at the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee, Gousha will take questions, talk about media, Milwaukee and more.  You should come.

The free event starts at 7:30 a.m.

He grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Marquette University, as a Warrior. He holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University, and is the founding president of Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM)/Fuel Milwaukee.

Early in his career, Sherman was one of youngest members of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, and currently is involved in numerous civic and community groups - including board positions at The Wisconsin Center District, Wisconsin Club and Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.  He's honored to have been named to The Business Journal's "30 under 30" and Milwaukee Magazine's "35 under 35" lists.

He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.

He also thinks you should read OnMilwaukee each and every day.
