It's time to get your motor runnin' one last time before the summer ends, Milwaukee. What better way to do it than at the Harley-Davidson Museum, where they'll be hosting four days of festivities to ride off into the sunset on summer 2025. Let's take a look at everything happening around the museum campus:
Thursday Bike Night Features Ladies Night
The museum kicks off the weekend with Ladies Night during their weekly Bike Night concert series on Thursday, from 5-9 p.m. The event will feature live performances by Milwaukee's own Dandy L. Freling and Big Heart Kind Band. Attendees can also meet members of The Litas, a women's motorcycle group, and enjoy food and drinks throughout the evening. If that wasn't enough, you also have a chance to win four tickets to see The Black Keys at BMO Pavilion on September 5th.
Factory Outlet Sale Returns
Before we know it, the brisk winds are going to set in, and that means time for more riding gear. Fortunately, the H-D Factory Outlet Sale runs Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m daily. Visitors can find deals on Harley-Davidson gear and merchandise at The Garage location. The sale offers limited-time pricing on items for the fall season. Pro tip; get there early, because the Factory Outlet Sales offer the best deals of the year, and they've become very popular for good reason.
MKE Labor Day Weekend Challenge
Ride throughout the city all weekend, and score some points along the way! The museum has partnered with Milwaukee-area Harley-Davidson dealerships for the MKE Labor Day Weekend Challenge, running all weekend as well. To qualify, participants must visit at least five of these seven locations:
- House of Harley-Davidson
- Wisconsin Harley-Davidson
- Milwaukee Harley-Davidson
- West Bend Harley-Davidson
- Uke's Harley-Davidson
- Suburban Harley-Davidson
- Harley-Davidson Museum.
Challenge completion earns riders an achievement badge and 500 M&L Points.
Fill up at MOTOR Bar & Grill
MOTOR Bar & Restaurant features one of the best views of Milwaukee's waterways, with a hidden gem of a patio for food and drinks. The on-campus restaurant will operate a smoker throughout the weekend, serving barbecue alongside drinks and lawn games. The restaurant combines motorcycle culture with food and music for the four-day event. Saturday programming includes live music in the plaza with Justin Witte from 1-4 p.m., followed by Robert Allen Jr. Band performing "BBQ & Blues" from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
The Big Unit Poker Run
It's a Poker Run that doesn't require you to practice your best Poker face! The 18th Annual Big Unit Poker Run with Bill Michaels takes place Sunday, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The event raises funds for Fisher House Wisconsin, which provides housing for military and veteran families during medical treatment.
The museum will provide grab-and-go breakfast for participants. Early registration enters riders into a drawing for a signed guitar from Sturgis Rally performers. Registration is available here.
Whether you're starting to wind down your riding season, or just looking to get out on two wheels this weekend, the Labor Day weekend events have something for just about every Harley rider. Don't miss out on all of the excitement! For even more details, visit the Harley-Davidson Museum website.
