Retired Brewer Jeff Cirillo is teaming up with The Humane Animal Welfare Society, 701 Nothview Rd. in Waukesha, to raise money for at-risk animals by matching a generous kick-off donation in 90 days.

The Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) has been given a generous donation and challenged to match it in 90 days. The $10,000 Matching Gift Behavior Rehabilitation Challenge will benefit the shelter's behavior programs, which seek to rehabilitate the behavior of at-risk dogs so they can be placed in loving homes.

"Many dogs are euthanized every year at shelters for their behavior and because of the lack of rehabilitation and restraining programs that can re-home them," said Cirillo. "What if these dogs had a second chance?"

HAWS' behavior program has a 90% success rate.
