Last year, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum – located right here in Milwaukee – brought Kevin McAllister and the Wet Bandits to head-bobbling life just in time for the holiday season. But big "Home Alone" fans may have been disappointed that one of the most important characters didn't get his own collectible. No, not you, Buzz – your tarantula!
For this past holiday season – as well as the 25th anniversary of "Home Alone 2" – the museum added a bobblehead of one of the most skin-crawling keys to Kevin's makeshift home security system/torture chamber to its official store. The creepy collectible – or would you technically call it a bobble-cephalothorax? – is perfect for adding to your bobblehead collection. Or for putting under a friend's pillow or shower. Or for helping ward off potential burglars.
The bobble-rantulas are available on the National Bobblehead Fall of Fame and Museum's online store for $20, while the set of limited edition, officially licensed Kevin, Marv and Harry bobbleheads are still around as well for $20 each – or $55 for all three (with a flat rate shipping cost of $8 per order).
For other buyable bobbleheads, as well as more information and updates on the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, visit its website. And happy National Bobblehead Day! (Yes, that is a real thing.)
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
