The Hot shYachts are the biggest, baddest only group of yacht rock DJs in Milwaukee and they are ready to gently rock for Dad's Day tomorrow, June 16, at the Pabst Brewery and Taproom patio, 1037 W. Juneau Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m.

What is yacht rock, you ask? The Hot shYachts describe it as "smooth, adult-oriented, easy-sipping music from Southern California that was popular during the '70s and '80s that's perfect for dancing, singing and summertime relaxing."

The Hot shYachts are veteran DJs and friendly party-starters with the latest equipment and a collective 30 years of experience. They have played many venues, from The Mad Planet to Nomad to the Cooperage.

"We don’t mind if you take selfies beside our electric palm tree," says DJ Fuzzy Logic, who goes by Prescott Sobol when he's off the decks.

No cover for dads, non-dads, moms, and non-moms. Polo shirts, Dockside boat shoes without visible socks and pastel chinos are encouraged, but not required. Free brewery tours for dads (we're all a father of something, right?) are also available.

The Hot shYachts also gig every Thursday night at Walker’s Point Music Hall, 538 W. National Ave.
