It was -2 degrees at 9 a.m. this morning, but that didn't stop about 20 people from meeting at "Dandelion Hill," on the corner of Oklahoma Avenue and Ellen Street in Bay View to create a frozen message of love for Valentine's Day.

The group, organized by Beth Eaton via Facebook, individually created colorful ice chunks (water, food coloring) of all shapes and sizes over the past week and then met up this morning with their bags of ice to create the word "LOVE" on the side of the hill.

"Voila! Community art at its finest," says participant Nichole Williams.

Swing by and check it out if you're in the neighborhood this week. Temperatures aren't expected to get above freezing until next weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day, Milwaukee!
