The days are growing short for last meals at Joey Gerard’s Supper Club in Mequon, as the restaurant will close on Saturday, Aug. 19.

The supper club themed restaurant at 11160 N. Cedarburg Rd. will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 14 after renovations to convert the restaurant into Mr. B’s Steakhouse.

The Bartolotta Restaurants made an announcement regardingthe changeover of the restaurant – a decision prompted by core customer feedback – in May; however, dates for the transition had not yet been finalized at that time.

"The restaurant will exhibit the same classic Steakhouse atmosphere we have had so much fun creating over the past 18 years in Brookfield," notes Joe Bartolotta. "Our guests have been a big part of the growth of Mr. B’s and have grown to love this restaurant. We look forward to bringing Mr. B’s to Mequon and to being a part of the community for years to come."

Like its Brookfield counterpart, the menu for Mr. B’s in Mequon will focus on steaks, chops and seafood, including dry aged and prime cuts, classic steaks and classic combinations like filet and lobster tail.

Executive chef Amber Dorszynski, current chef at Joey Gerard’s, will continue to head up the kitchen at the new Mr. B's in collaboration with corporate executive chef Adam Siegel.

Joey Gerard’s Supper Club, 5601 Broad St. in Greendale, will remain open.
