Last week, OnMilwaukee broke the story that actor / travel host / comedian John McGivern was returning to television with a new show, and now, we are thrilled to sharew he is returning to the stage, too.

McGivern will perform new and old stories revolving around spring, summer and COVID-19 called "Up Close (But Not Too Close)" for four consecutive weekends from April 23-May 16 at the Pabst Theater.

The seating will be socially distanced and masks will be required.

"I am back on the schedule. I was supposed to open in November with 'Holiday Stories.' Didn't happen.  Then I was then supposed to open in February with 'Winter Stories.' Didn't happen. Now I am opening in April with 'Spring/Summer/COVID Stories' and it is going to happen!" McGivern wrote on Facebook.

Tickets range from $25.50-45.50 and can be purchased here.
