The Great Milwaukee Summer is HERE! Your guide to what you'll be doing, where you'll be drinking, who you'll be hearing and how you'll be getting a sweet tan this summer is on OnMilwaukee. The Great Milwaukee Summer guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union and Harley-Davidson Museum

September is arguably Milwaukee's best summer month and so festival season now stretches beyond Labor Day weekend.

NIGHTLITE, a live outdoor immersive arts and lights festival sponsored by Joy Engine, brings 4D projection mapping technology to the iconic Historic Mitchell Neighborhood on Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9.

The new Mitchell Street Arts, 710 W. Historic Mitchell St., will serve as the backdrop for the mesmerizing show.

NITELIGHT will feature a fashion show, local vendors, dance performances and live music and DJs. After sundown, the motion graphics show will begin.

"The event is family friendly and free to the public," says Joy Engine's Steph Salvia. "It’s all a part of our mission to connect, uplift and inspire the Milwaukee community."

Joy Engine is a non-profit public art organization that curates intentional, immersive art experiences. Find out more about it here.
