Kim Morris has been selected to lead the East Town Association as Executive Director.

Ms. Morris will join the East Town team later this month after leaving her current position as Special Event Manager at Destination Kohler/The American Club.   She has also previously served as Executive Director of Daly Mansion in Hamilton, Montana, a Montana State Museum, and held event management positions at both Robert W. Baird Investment Co. and Harley Davidson Corporate.

"I'm genuinely looking forward to returning to Downtown Milwaukee as Executive Director of this great organization," said Kim Morris in a statement. "The East Town Association brings so much to the community – I am excited to be a part of that." Ms. Morris will relocate to Milwaukee from Kohler, WI in the coming weeks.

Morris is filling the position previously held by Kate Borders, who has accepted the position as President and CEO of PBID Partners of Downtown Fresno, California.

Ms. Morris will be joining current East Town staff members Peter Adams and Emily Linn.

The East Town Association, among other initiatives, runs Jazz in the Park, Bastille Days and the East Town Market.
