NorthSouth Club, Milwaukee's only axe-throwing and deck shuffleboard bar, is hosting a Kentucky Derby party onsite, 230 E. Pittsburgh Ave. Or Derby lovers can throw on their favorite hat and celebrate from home with a "Derby Home Kit."

The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 5 with tables for guests to reserve at 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. To ensure social distancing, only seven tables will be available during both time slots and groups are limited to four people.

The two-hour party is $20 per person and includes 90 minutes of shuffleboard, a traditional or special mint julep in a copper cup and a raffle ticket with the chance to win a limited edition 2020 Derby Woodford Reserve bottle. 

For those who want to giddy up from home, NorthSouth Club offers a Derby Home Kit for $64, featuring a bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, four copper julep cups, ice cube tray, mint-infused simple syrup and a raffle ticket to win a the limited edition Woodford Reserve bottle.
