Kerry Wolfe, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Milwaukee, is out at the company.

As first reported by AllAccess.com, Wolfe departs amidst a company-wide, week-long series of layoffs, in part due to the financial impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Wolfe confirmed the news with a tweet on Friday afternoon.

Wolfe is a mainstay in the Milwaukee radio scene, most notably working for more than 30 years at FM 106.1 WMIL in addition to overseeing programming at iHeartMedia Milwaukee's other stations in the market – including News-Talk WISN, 95.7 BIG FM, 97.3 The Game, V100.7 and BIG 920 – under his most recent title.

OnMilwaukee has reached out to Wolfe for comment, and will update this article with any new information as it comes in.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
