The Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team came in second place at the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off over the holiday break – but they already know when they'll get their shot at redemption, as the four-team hockey tournament will return to Fiserv Forum on Dec. 28-29.
The latest Holiday Face-Off will feature the Wisconsin Badgers once again along with three new collegiate squads: the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, the Air Force Falcons and the Northeastern Huskies. Both the Bulldogs and Huskies were in last year's NCAA hockey championship tournament, with Minnesota Duluth making it to the regional finals.
2023 will mark the third edition of the Holiday Face-Off at Fiserv Forum. The tournament first debuted in 2021 with the Badgers claiming victory in comeback fashion over Providence. For round two last month, the Badgers fell just short, losing in the championship matchup to the Clarkson Golden Knights.
