In May, Dick Leinenkugel withdrew from the race for U.S. Senate and endorsed the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, Ron Johnson. Johnson, of course, went on to defeat incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold.
I wonder, though, would Leinenkugel have beaten Feingold, too? Was this an issues race more than a personality profile? Probably.
Anyway, what are your thoughts? Use the Talkback feature to respond.
Any thoughts on what's next for Feingold or Leinenkugel for that matter? Something tells me we'll see them both on a ballot again soon.
