Anna Dewdney has written four Llama Llama picture books for kids and a fifth is coming in August. While you wait, you can get great hardcover editions of two of the first three for just $5 each.

Kohl's Department Stores has added "Llama Llama Red Pajama" and "Llama Llama Misses Mama" to its Kohl's Cares for Kids series, which offers fine children's books and related plush toys for $5.

All of net profit from sales of these items benefits the Kohl's Cares foundation, which funds children's health and education initiatives across the country.

"These books and plush toys are an incredible value at just $5 each. Not only will families fall in love with Anna Dewdney's adorable characters, they can feel good knowing their purchase supports programs that give back to their community," said Julie Gardner, Kohl's executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

"The Kohl's Cares program is a great way for my characters to encourage children to read, while at the same time supporting programs that promote children's health and education," said Dewdney. "I'm thrilled that Llama Llama and Mama Llama can share such a positive message about giving with children and their parents."

The books and the plush toys – Llama Llama and the Zebra teacher from "Llama Llama Misses Mama" – are available at all Kohl's Department Stores.

And, in case you're wondering, "Llama Llama Home with Mama" is due out Aug. 23.
