Cafe Benelux, 346 N. Broadway, has reopened its iconic rooftop for the season and – as promised – it’s better than ever.
Whether you stop by for a beer, for dinner or for weekend brunch, you can take advantage of the rooftop space without worrying about inclement weather.
The Lux Skyhause, the first of its kind in Milwaukee, features a retractable Roll-A-Cover enclosure designed to bring the magic of al fresco dining to the forefront, regardless of the weather.
On warm, sunny days, it will remain open, allowing guests to dine directly beneath the open sky. When there’s rain or a chill in the air, guests can enjoy a covered, heated space that’s still visible from below.
“Al fresco dining isn’t just a trend—it’s a lifestyle deeply rooted in European culture, and one we’ve embraced from day one at Benelux,” says Eric Wagner, CEO and Founder of Lowlands Group. “The Lux Skyhaus puts magic at the forefront–year-round, rain or shine.”
Of course, the new rooftop will function as more than just a dining area. Guests can also secure it for weddings, private events and celebrations – anything that would benefit from a bit of indoor/outdoor seating. Best of all, even if there’s rain on your special day, the Skyhaus keeps everything warm, dry and beautiful.
