The Marquette University men's basketball team will allow up to 1,800 fans at its game against Xavier University at the Fiserv Forum on Saturday, March 6 at 8 p.m., the university announced today.
The matchup is the final game of the season
The majority of available seats – socially distanced throughout the arena – will be tabbed for Marquette students.
Tickets will not be offered to the general public.
According to Thursday's announcement, "The athletic department will communicate directly with individuals/groups identified in the ticket distribution plan, including students, player/staff family members, athletic department personnel and donors."
Senior Night and National Marquette Day will be celebrated at the game.
Marquette will adhere to the detailed health and safety plan that the Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Health Department have developed, which includes allowing fans at 10 percent of the arena's capacity (1,800).
Fans are required to wear face coverings at all times inside the venue, except when actively eating or drinking, and no bags are permitted. Fans must remain seated at all times when at their seats and food and beverages must be consumed in the fans' ticketed seats.
Fiserv Forum will allow fans into the venue via a timed-entry system that aims to limit the size of groups at entrances. Items larger than 4"x6"x1" not permitted in the Fiserv Forum.
