On Friday we received word from Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa that the shopping center will require people younger than 18 to shop with a parent or an adult 21 or older during certain hours.

The new policy, which goes into effect on Friday, March 30 and is called "Parental Guidance Required," applies after 2 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

I'm not here to arque the pros and cons of this policy as I rarely drive all the way to Tosa to shop (and seriously, it's so much easier to park Downtown anyway).  But, I can't help but wonder why an 18-year-old now has to show an I.D. to shop but still doesn't have to show one to vote.

As I go to the polls next Tuesday, April 3, I'll still be scratching my head.
