For 21 years running, the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation (the organization behind Mexican Fiesta) will be kicking off their spring slate of events with their popular Taco Dinner fundraiser.

The 2021 drive-thru event will take place on Friday, April 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flores Hall parking lot at 2997 S. 20th St.

During the Taco Dinner, guests will be able to purchase mouthwatering tacos and margaritas from the comfort of their own vehicles. Tacos with rice and beans will cost $5 with strawberry or lime margaritas available for $12. Guests who bring their 2020 Taco Dinner mugs can refill their mugs for $8.

In tandem, the WHSF will also be celebrating the Día de Los Niños (Kids Day), with safe and fun drive-through activities. As part of this celebration, a toy giveaway will be available (until supplies last) by the MATC Latinx Unidos. So families are invited to bring their children.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships for the higher education of Hispanic students in the state of Wisconsin.

All CDC safety protocols will be followed during the event. If you have any questions, please contact the WHSF/Mexican Fiesta office at (414) 383-7066 or visit www.mexicanfiesta.org
