After 11 consecutive weeks of cash mobbing one specific restaurant at a time, Cash Mob MKE – in partnership with the Milwaukee Independent Restaurant Coalition (MIRC) – is hosting a mega-event to benefit eight local eateries.

The effort takes place on Wednesday, March 31

By purchasing food from one or more of these spots on Wednesday, you'll support a local restaurant in need due to pandemic shutdowns and limitations and 10 percent will also go to the MIRC Restaurant Relief Fun (MIRC).

Twice in the past year, this fund distributed $1,000 grants to 10 locally owned MIRC-member restaurants every time it reached $10,000. Currently, MIRC is very close to hitting that mark for the third time, so this cash mob could literally result in 10 more restaurant grants.

If you are unable to visit these restaurants on Wednesday, there are other ways to help. Just scroll down to get the details.

Super big thanks to everyone who has already participated in Cash Mob MKE this year. It's been a tremendous success. Stay tuned for fresh, new ways to help local establishments as they continue to get through the pandemic and its aftermath.
