Mark your calendars. It’s almost time for the first-ever MKE Dumpling Fest, a celebration of creative dumplings from all over the world.
Presented by ElevAsian in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, MKE Dumpling Fest will take place on Sunday, June 4 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at The Cooperage, 822 S. Water St.
Emceed by Chef Adam Pawlak, MKE Dumpling Fest will feature some of the area’s best chefs competing for the Golden Gyoza trophy and the title of “Milwaukee’s Favorite Dumpling.” Guests will be in the judging booth, sampling them all and voting for their favorite.
A panel of celebrity judges – including Francesca Hong, Derek Mosley and Adam Pawlak – will also be weighing in on the chefs’ creative takes.

Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased online. But don’t wait! Dumplings are delicious and space is limited.

When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or recording the FoodCrush podcast, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
