I hope you didn't stay up late last night watching the historically long Game 3 of the World Series (Who won? Who cares!?) because my three to see for Day 10 will keep you up late into Sunday – as well as keep you up on your feet and dancing in the theater aisles. That's right: One of today's screenings not only allows shuffling and stepping in between the seats, but explicitly promotes it.
Here's my picks for Day 10 of the Milwaukee Film Festival. Now get a nap in – you've got a long night of busting a move and bloody mayhem ahead of you. (Don't worry; they're two different movies.)
Here's where to find my three to see for Day 10 of the Milwaukee Film Festival.
- "I Am Not a Witch" will show at 6:30 p.m. at the Fox-Bay Cinema Grill
- "Stop Making Sense" will show at 9 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre
- "Let the Corpses Tan" will show at midnight at the Avalon
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
