MKEfest, the local celebration of diversity through art, culture and music powered by SamanthaStarr Events is back with a unique after-hours event that blends art, fashion and music with food and infused beverages.
MKEfest Moonlight will take place on Saturday, June 15 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Canni: Infusion Bar & Cafe, 810 S. 5th St.
During the event, guests are invited to experience a world where art comes alive after dark as they mix, mingle, sip on infused cocktails from Canni and enjoy tapas-style fare from Dream Catering Co. and Piña Mexican Eats Food Truck.
Meanwhile, DJ Marc Blends will set the mood as attendees revel in the unexpected, opening their eyes to art in an entirely new way.

Art will be available for purchase. Guests will also be invited to experience a fashion pop-up by Ratchet Luxury.
Tickets for MKEfest Moonlight are available online for $30 per person. Each ticket includes a welcome cocktail, tapas, live artists and music. The first 20 guests will receive a swag bag from Canni.

Lori is an avid cook whose accrual of condiments and spices is rivaled only by her cookbook collection. Her passion for the culinary industry was birthed while balancing A&W root beer mugs as a teenage carhop, fed by insatiable curiosity and fueled by the people whose stories entwine with every dish. Lori is the author of two books: the "Wisconsin Field to Fork" cookbook and "Milwaukee Food". Her work has garnered journalism awards from entities including the Milwaukee Press Club. In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
