The Refinery Photo Studio will be taking their mug shot booth to two Milwaukee barbershops in the hopes of snapping some photos of men's Movember mustaches before they are shorn off, and their upper lips must nakedly face the bitter cold of December. 

As the booth's name might suggest, the photographs will be done in the style of vintage mug shots. The photo shoots are free, and prints will be available to purchase online after the event. Part of the proceeds from the Movember photos sold will be donated to help raise money and awareness for prostate cancer and other men's health charities. 

The booth will first be at Dapper Classic Barbershop, 1209 E. Brady St.,  on Nov. 30 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. In honor of the event, Dapper Barbershop will be offering free mustache and hair stylings for the photographs that day. 

Then, on December 1, the mug shot booth will appear at Stag Barbershop, 3064 S. Delaware Ave., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop is offering free mustache shave offs, and the first 50 clients will also receive a free razor from Harry's.

Music, refreshments and appetizers will be available at both locations. Mustached men planning to participate are encouraged, but not required, to dress up in their felonious finest for the photographs.
