The Milwaukee Mustangs found trading partners in the Kansas City Command, Arizona Rattlers and Orlando Predators on Monday, acquiring LB Tyus Jackson, WR Andrae Thurman and DB Kelvin Rodgers.

The Mustangs dealt future considerations to Kansas City and Arizona, while defensive back and kick return specialist Justin Hannah was swapped for Rodgers in Orlando.

Jackson returns to Milwaukee, where he spent the 2010 season under current Mustangs head coach Bob Landsee. Jackson led the Command in forced fumbles last season with four and finished second on the team in sacks with 8.5. He has 5.5 tackles and one half of a sack in 2012.

Thurman is a three-year veteran of arena football, having spent time with the Dallas Desperados in 2007 and 2008 before joining the Arizona Rattlers in 2011. Though he joins the Mustangs as a newcomer to Milwaukee, Thurman is not entirely unfamiliar with the state of Wisconsin, having spent the 2004 and 2005 NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Thurman has recorded nine catches for 119 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Rodgers led the Mustangs in tackles as a rookie last season. The defensive back and kick return specialist was originally assigned to San Jose for the 2012 season, but was traded to Chicago soon after. Rodgers stuck with the team for three games before being traded to Orlando after Week 4. He has notched 10 kick returns for 234 yards and one touchdown in three games in 2012.

In return for Rodgers, Orlando acquires second-year defensive back Justin Hannah. Hannah has been the Mustangs top kick returner this season. Hannah spent time with Tampa Bay and Chicago last year before joining Milwaukee during the offseason.
