It's not even December yet, but this week, Netflix spoiled its big Christmas gift to the movie-watching nation ... not that anybody's complaining too much.

In their usual monthly preview of what's coming and going, Netflix announced that, on Christmas Day, the streaming site will have the biggest movie of the year, "Captain America: Civil War," available for streaming. That means those that haven't seen the blockbuster will have it happily waiting for them Christmas morning – without even needing to leave Netflix any cookies or milk – and the other 95% of the population that saw it in theaters can relive the excitement of seeing the best version of Spiderman to grace movie screens so far. 

As for the rest of Netflix's December debuts, save for "The Angry Birds Movie" (gags), there's not much in terms of big new theatrical releases hitting the streaming service. There are, however, a few great comedy classics, like "Animal House" and "Beverly Hills Cop," and as usual, there's a lot to be potentially excited about amongst the original offerings. The service will premiere a bonkers-looking comedy special from crazy-talented musical comedian Reggie Watts; "White Rabbit Project," a new science show from former "Mythbusters" cast members Grant, Tory and Kari called "White Rabbit Project"; "Trollhunters," a new animated TV show from the wildly imaginative Guillermo del Toro; and "Barry," a biopic about young Barack Obama. 

Oh, and a second season of "Fuller House." Suppose you gotta take the Christmas coal with the  Christmas gifts.
