Northpoint Snack Shop, located on the south end of Bradford Beach, opened last week.  But, to kick off summer time at the beach, they're throwing quite the grand opening.

Honoring National Hamburger Day this Thursday, Northpoint Snack Shop is grilling free hamburgers for the first 250 customers starting at noon.

The "Lotta Burger" is a signature item but it certainly isn't the only thing on the menu. Operated by the Bartolotta Restaurant Group, Northpoint's menu pays homage to Wisconsin roots with Sciortino rolls and Johnsonville Brats. Grilled tuna steak, portabella sandwich and fresh salads add a lighter side to a beach menu of tator tots, Nathan's hot dogs, fried cheese curds and Yukon Gold French fries.

The menu's focus, however, is custard.  Chef Adam Siegel adds fresh Madagascar vanilla for a boost of flavor in the stand's homemade custard.

So, get ready for the beach and get outside at Northpoint Snack Shop this Thursday starting at noon.
