Milaeger's -- The past few years, I have really gotten into gardening. Overalls, rubber clogs, dirt underneath fingernails -- I've got it all going on during this time of year. And Milaeger's is one of my favorite places to find pretty stuff to stick in the ground. The family-owned business has a massive selection of all the basic perennials and annuals, plus a fantastic array of unique grasses and water plants. There are two locations, one in Racine and one in Sturtevant, and they are definitely worth the drive. I give it two green thumbs up. -- Molly Snyder Edler

"Yours Truly, Angry Mob" by Kaiser Chiefs -- Like many sophomore efforts, this disc will be panned by a bunch of ‘hipper-than-you' critics who will tell you that the debut disc was better. Don't buy it. This disc gets off to a strong start with "Ruby," and includes some well-crafted tunes that lead one to believe this group may build on its rabid base in the U.K. If nothing else, you have to like the fact that the band's first disc was called "Employment" and there is a track here called "Retirement." Check them out May 1 on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC. -- Drew Olson

Cedarburg Coffee Roasters coffee club -- I'll admit that I wanted a Milwaukee roaster for the Milwaukee Public Market. Seemed kinda natural, right? Well, I've learned to embrace a more regional approach to my morning brew with the Cedarburg Coffee Roaster inside the Milwaukee Public Market. The people are nice, coffee tasty and best yet, their coffee club is all automatic. No punch card required. Just buy your coffee, give your name (if they don't remember it) and your purchase gets stored in their database. Buy 10, get the next one free. -- Jeff Sherman

Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda Mendoza -- Yes, you know me, I only buy Piemontese wine, except when that's impossible, but I spied this over the weekend at Ray's on North Avenue in Tosa for $8.99 and decided to give it a whirl. While bonarda has gotten rarer in Italy, except in its native Oltrepo Pavese, some Italian-Argentines (remember that 46 percent of Argentines claim Italian ancestry) have found success with it. The Colonia Las Liebres label proudly proclaims that this wine -- from 30-year-old vines -- is un-oaked and that's what drew me in. Without the oak to shove it into the middle of the road, this medium-bodied, ruby red bonarda is distinctive and drinkable with vanilla and plum notes. Wine Spectator has dubbed it a best value at 87 points. -- Bobby Tanzilo

The BBC version of "The Office" -- After getting caught up in the popularity of the NBC version of the show, I revisited the original BBC series that I fell in love with years ago. Halfway through the first episode, two words came to mind: ‘No comparison.' I am not a snob for British humor by any stretch, but while the US version is very funny, the British version is clever. And much like a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, in this instance clever beats funny every single time. -- Kevin Brandt

Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot Deck -- Most tarot decks are the same, with "Mi Lord, Mi Lady" type art that goes well with pewter dragon statues and tie-dye T-shirts airbrushed with eagles. The Phantasmagoric Theater deck is different, falling into the "creepy cute" category. Artist Graham Cameron has a deep understanding of the cards' classic meaning, yet he depicts them in a fresh, modern way. At the very least, tarot cards work well as a coffee table conversation piece. Just try not to overturn the devil card too many times, otherwise you may need to consider curbing your indulgent side, and that's no fun. -- M.E.

The hot Italian sandwich Potbelly sandwich works -- This delectable combination of capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, salami, provolone, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil and Italian seasoning would Tony Soprano proud. Eat too many and you may start to look like the big business man from North Jersey. The Web site lists the sandwich as carrying close to 500 calories and 25 grams of fat, and that is without the fun (and totally necessary) things like cheese, peppers, mayo and oil. Once in awhile, you have to treat yourself. If you feel guilty afterward, get in an extra workout or eat a salad for dinner. It's worth it. -- Drew Olson

Cricket Diet Cola -- You might not think of green tea and cola as ideal mixtures, but this beverage will prove you wrong. The diet version isn't quite as tasty as the regular, which blends kola nut, tea and vanilla flavors in a pleasant herbal finish. The diet is good, though, with little aftertaste. The equivalent of two cups of tea, it's a great way to wash down an Italian sandwich. -- D.O.

"Scrubs" -- There is no finer comedy on television. "Scrubs," has more than kicked butt this season. It's made me think, cry and laugh out load several times each episode. It's itself not what the network wants it to be and, admittedly, not for everyone. But, it's what a sitcom can be if it cares. "Scrubs" is amazing television. Add it to your TiVo list now. -- J.S.

"In the Land of Women" soundtrack -- I haven't seen the movie and will probably wait for the DVD. I'm a fan of Adam Brody, I'll admit, and he's what brought my attention to this download. Anyway, this soundtrack has a good blend of tunes including stuff from Neill Finn, Rougue Wave, Mates of State and a classic from INXS, "Beautiful Girls." Check it out. -- J.S.

Time Warner Sports (Channel 32) -- Any cable channel that shows the Kimberly High School Reunion Basketball game featuring the graduating classes of the mid-70's vs. the graduating classes of the mid-80's is worth a look. Throw in a couple of Admirals and Wave games and you've got a great "there's nothing else on so I'll just watch this" channel. And that is meant with deepest respect. It's not a destination channel, but it's great to watch when you get there. -- K.B.
