Double down on action-packed excitement at The Temporary by American Place. The Midwest’s hottest new casino, less than an hour south of Milwaukee!

In late January, Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed announced the nominees for the 95th annual Academy Awards. The result was ... a pretty solid collection of nominees!

No, really! Save for the Academy's ugly routine of ignoring Black women in major categories, there was something for just about everyone amongst the key competitions – from huge bombastic blockbusters to indie character studies and just about everything in between. And when there was room in a category for a surprise, the Academy tended to pick something interesting (Paul Mescal in "Aftersun!" Brian Tyree Henry in "Causeway!" Andrea Riseborough in "To Leslie" – which may or may not be a real movie!) rather than its usual habit of picking the most lazy, predictable and half-hearted option possible. Overall: It's a solid bunch – or at least certainly not embarrassing like some years.

Right now, for the top prize, it's looking like the universe-hopping emotional rollercoaster that is "Everything Everywhere All At Once" – the nominations leader with 11 total nods – is well out in front with "All Quiet on the Western Front" and (yes, really) "Top Gun: Maverick" hovering around as dark horses.

Who will actually come out on top? We'll find out the answer to that question and 22 other similar ones when the Oscars take the stage on Sunday, March 12. But until then, we can certainly answer this very important query: Where can you actually watch all these dang movies?

To help you catch up with all the great nominated movies here (and "Blonde") and to help you score the best, most informed ballot in your Oscars betting pool come awards night, here's a viewing guide to this year's nominees – from where you can find them on local big screens to where you can find them streaming on your couch. With our help, you can fly your way through the Academy's nominees in time for this weekend's ceremony like a bunch of hotshot military pilots on a mission. So, with no further ado, here's the list, updated every week with the latest bookings and changes.

OK, maybe with a little further ado: For those looking where to find the live action, animated and documentary shorts, all three of those annual Oscar-nominee compilations are now showing at the Oriental Theatre. Anyways, back to the featured presentation:

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
