The latest Bucks video spot was released today, and will begin airing locally online and on broadcast outlets in Milwaukee in the coming days.

Titled "Our City," the ad helps to illustrate the power of basketball to connect the community and was produced by local agency Stir featuring a custom soundtrack from local hip-hop artist Pizzle.

As you probably know, I’m a big basketball fan and love that people choose to put hoops on their garages and that neighborhood courts are still the places where the game grows and comes to life.

My eight-year-old is a huge fan too, and he’s thrilled that his home court at Lake Bluff Elementary School is featured in the ad. As a proud Dad, I’m also happy to trumpet that the boy graced these same courts in an ad for Aurora Health Care.

The Bucks are working on companion video spot titled "Our State" that will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Local producer Arthur Ircink worked on the ad, and is among several sharing his pride this morning on Facebook writing:

"Shameless I know. But super proud of this video I produced / directed in collaboration with STIR for the Milwaukee Bucks. It's a honor to be working on projects I truly love! Music: Pizzle. Shout out to Jerry Riedel, Rob Due, Erik Ljung, Jimmy Michaels, Quinn Hester, Dan Peters, Randy Lorenz, Wes Tank, Mike Oates and the Lake Bluff School!"

The Bucks face LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena tonight. They'll go for two in a row over the Cavs, and it's the Bucks' first time on TNT's weekly Thursday night slate of games since 2002.

Go Bucks!
