A trip to Hawaii isn’t attainable for some folks this spring, but exploring the Hawaiian sky at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Manfred Olson Planetarium is only $5.
The ultra-affordable event, called "Lei with the Stars," takes place March 7, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. at the university’s planetarium, 1900 E. Kenwood Blvd., and is open to the public.
"The show will explore the ways the Hawaiian people navigated with the stars and highlight the constellations from the Hawaiian latitude," says the UWM Planetarium’s Marissa Medina.
All guests will receive a lei and complimentary punch.
Tickets are available online or at the door. Please note the UWM planetarium is wheelchair accessible and that shows are not suggested for kids under the age of four.
