In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a pretty big football game happening this Sunday, and Potawatomi Sportsbook is more than prepared for one of the biggest sports events of the year.
This year, not only is the Sportsbook providing nearly 1,000 different options for wagering money on the game, but it has two event locations ready for your game-watch parties. Of course, there’s the massive mutli-level Potawatomi Sportsbook, with 6,500 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 200 fans with some of the biggest screens you’ll ever watch football on, but there’s also another option. At the location of the former Fire Pit Sports Bar next to the current Sportsbook is The Annex at Potawatomi Sportsbook, which will have couches, food, and drinks to catch the game as well. Conveniently, there are also sports betting machines nearby for in-game wagering.
If you want to take in the big game in style, Potawatomi Casino Hotel is currently taking reservations for their Tailgate Party. For $40 per person, you can enjoy the game at The Annex, complete with an all-you-can-eat buffet with stadium specialties throughout the game, as well as a wristband for three free drinks. That party starts at 1 p.m., with plenty of time to watch more sports during the day before the game kicks off at 5:30 p.m.
If you want to watch the game in the full Sportsbook with that giant screen, you can reserve a lounge seat for $25. For the premium experience, a $100 reservation at the Sportsbook will get you a 2-top table with a food and beverage minimum spend. In the Sportsbook, they’ll have $20 buckets of beer, or $10 off of a 100-ounce beer tube in case you can’t be bothered to get up from your chair during the game. The Kitchen will feature all-day brunch and plenty of in-game food options for you, as well. You can cheer on the Eagles or Chiefs like a VIP on Sunday, with festivities starting at 4 p.m.
To make your reservations, head over to the Potawatomi Casino Hotel website.
Prop Betting
Of course, if you’re watching the game at the casino, you’ll probably want to get in on the action, right? No matter if you’re a diehard football fan or just along for the ride, you’ll have plenty of options to win some money on the game. Betting lines are currently open on Sunday’s game, and while you could take the teams to win with the moneyline (to just win the game) or the spread (as of post time, the Chiefs are favored to win by one point), there’s a ton of other options as well. In fact, there’s almost an overwhelming amount of game props, or on-field occurrences to place a bet on. Allow us to break some of it down.
Popular prop bets right now include the coin toss, which is just as it sounds (will it come up heads or tails?), and which player will score the first touchdown of the game. You can also bet on if the final play of the game will be a quarterback kneel, whether the game will end before or after 10:15 (Eastern time), and if either team will score in the final two minutes of the game, amongst other things. That is literally just the tip of the iceberg, so the smart move would be to view the bets ahead of time on the Potawatomi Sportsbook odds page to peruse which wagers might feel like your best bet.
Avoid the lines!
Naturally, one of the biggest games of the year is going to draw a crowd. As a better myself, I can give you a couple pieces of advice before you make your trip to Potawatomi Sportsbook. I won’t tell you what specifically to bet on, though, because that would end up horribly.
Lines are open today: Betting lines for the big game have been available since the end of the Conference Championship games. You can avoid the crowd today by heading to Potawatomi Sportsbook any time before Sunday to likely reduce your wait time. There are hundreds of machines available, but lines may occasionally form while people are putting together their bets and checking them twice.
Build your bet in advance: This is the biggest time-saver. On your phone, you can visit the Potawatomi Sportsbook odds page and select your bets in advance. While you can’t wager from your phone, you can build single, parlay, and round robin bets on your phone in advance, which will generate a QR code. When you arrive at Potawatomi Sportsbook, simply scan the QR code using the reader located underneath the screen. Your bet will populate on the screen, and you can enter the amount you want to wager and print your betting slip. In and out, easy as can be. This is especially useful for parlays and more intricate bets.
Know your bets before you go: Even if you don’t want to build your bet on your phone, it helps to know where you’d like to put your money down before you leave the house. You can peruse the Potawatomi Sportsbook odds website to see current lines, odds, and wagers available before you head to the casino. If you don’t want to bet on one of the machines, staff are available at the Sportsbook to manually place wagers, as well.
No matter how or where you want to enjoy this Sunday’s game, you can come out a winner. Good luck!
