Say what you want about basic b*tch PSLs and decorative gourd season, but personally I love an autumnal treat. Caramel apples, butternut squash soup, bourbon-y ciders – I’m cloaked in flannel and ready to consume.
But my favorite October / November novelty nosh is pumpkin pancakes. The perfect mix of sweet and savory, they are the ideal breakfast centerpiece bordered by hot coffee and a greasy meat.
Here’s a list of five places with tasty pumpkin pancakes:
1. Cafe Agora
Menomonee Falls, (262) 250-2747

2. Denny’s

Denny’s carved out a new menu item this year with the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes that also includes cakes, eggs, taters and your choice of meat. With 1,700 locations in the country and eight in Milwaukee County, there’s most likely a Denny’s near you.
