The Pumpkin Palace is back. With a new Humboldt Park location, a Halloween pavilion of pumpkins returns to Bay View this weekend.

The Pumpkin Pavilion event, sponsored by Rush-Mor Records, Bird Ladder, Studio Q, Milwaukee County Parks and the Bay View Neighborhood Association, offers area neighbors and residents a chance for pumpkin carving family fun.

Those looking to get in on the carving action can stop by Club Garibaldi, 2501 S. Superior St., tonight or the Humboldt Park Pavilion Thursday night from 6 to 10 p.m. to pick out a pumpkin and start slicing away.

The weekend's festivities kick off Friday night with a Grand Lighting at the Humboldt Park Pavilion at 7:15 p.m. Hundreds of individually carved pumpkins will light up the park and create the perfect setting for a weekend of Halloween fun.

All weekend long, the park will be packed with hundreds of pumpkins, live music, kids activities and movie showings. Testa Rosa plays Friday night at 7 p.m. followed by John the Savage on Saturday night.
