It's officially summer which means most of us are officially living for the weekends. And this weekend is gonna be a magical one.

OnMilwaukee and Purple Door Ice Cream teamed up to create a free, family-friendly / Date Night outing that's rooted in folklore fun.

Here are the details:

Head to Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave. in Bay View, with your kids, sweetheart or friends both real and imagined any time between Friday, June 24 at 8 a.m. and Sunday, June 26 at 5 p.m.

Stroll through the park in search of Purple Fairy Doors. There will be 19 of them "planted" at the base of trees. Feel free to find one or five or all 19.

Take a selfie with the Fairy Door – or at least a photo of your foot next to the door so we know it's yours. Post your pic to your social media platform of your choice and tag @onmilwaukee and @purpledooricecream and #purplefairydoors

Head to Purple Door Ice Cream, located at 205 S. 2nd St. in Walker's Point or at the Mequon Public Market in the Northshore. Show a scooper your pic and whoever is in the pic gets a free mini scoop of ice cream with the purchase of any kiddie, single or double scoop of ice cream. This offer is available at both the Walker's Point and Mequon locations from Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26.

Please do not take or move the Fairy Doors. The fairies need to return to their homes via the doors so they can eat cake and nap at their leisure.

Feel free to dress up in wings and sparkles for your Fairy Door Finding Adventure. See y'all in the Fairy Realm!
